Winter is the season of hibernation. It’s a time to release unnecessary holding and ease into deep and nourishing rest. The bears in the wilderness around me and the trees in my backyard are doing it and often I long to as well. However, as humans with busy lives and the festive holidays before us, it may feel like we cannot stop.
This series offers the opportunity to tap into this natural cycle of rest and deep nourishment for body, mind and soul to be more at ease while participating in festivities of the holiday season (be it live or via zoom this year).
Through the practices of gentle yoga, pranayama, mantra and yoga nidra we’ll slip into stillness for a mini-hibernation and emerge refreshed with peaceful vibrance.
