Morning rituals invite radical change to your body, mind and consciousness. By taking care of yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually you are better equipped to take care of those around you.

Experience the power of following an Ayurvedic daily routine - together! Reset your inner seasons to harmonize with Mother Nature and feel balanced at every level. These practices help regulate our sleep cycles, digestion, absorption, and assimilation, and create more equanimity, peace, happiness, and vitality.

Challenge participants will meet on Sunday to learn the Ayurvedic philosophy of dinacharya - the daily ritual. We will discuss safe, effective, ongoing cleansing techniques and commit to creating our own Morning Ritual. Monday-Friday we will meet to practice purifying pranayama, mantra, and meditation and to keep each other accountable for our new healthy habits!

Sunday session is 90 minutes in length to learn the practices, chat about Ayurveda (what is it anyway?) and get every question answered. During the week, the check-in sessions are a quick 30 minutes. Additional time each day is available with Allison Joy in case more support is requested. At the end of the challenge we celebrate!

About Allison Joy

Allison Joy is a new mom, yoga teacher, meditation guide, and an Ayurveda and astrology enthusiast. She recently relocated to South Florida from New York City with her husband, Todd, newborn son, Cristiano, and dogs, Snoopy and Hova. She loves to cook and share plant-based food with family and friends.

In her sessions, she guides to feel into the body, to connect with the breath, and dedicate your effort as preliminary practices. As the practice becomes steady and consistent we move into the space of the mind. Ethics and morality are the basis for all that she shares when teaching.

In partnership with Mind Oasis since its inception, Allison Joy teaches Community Meditation Thursdays at 12:00pm CT. In her role as MO Program Manager she works closely with all of the Mind Oasis teachers, a role she cherishes because of her passion for encouraging conscious communities.

“Meditation leads us to see our common humanity. It helps us to release the illusion of ‘the other’; to quit dividing into ‘us and them’. Universal adoption of meditation will lead to world peace, the end of poverty, and equality and equity for all beings everywhere. Thank you for practicing!” - AJP
