From The Miracle of Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh ~ “meditation on interdependence is to be practiced constantly, not only while sitting, but as an integral part of our involvement in all ordinary tasks. We must learn to see that the person in front of us is ourself and that we are that person.”

We wrap up the 2020 Meditation Challenge Reunion, Community Meditation teacher with Natalie Hain teaching you practices you can use johnny-on-the-spot wherever you are and in any situation!

Natalie writes, "When I am standing in line at the grocery store I look at whats in the person's cart in front of me and I imagine all the people and effort that went in to each item.  Then I envision that person picking each item, taking it home and feeding them to their loved ones or themselves.  I imagine these foods nourishing their body, bringing a family together for a meal and I picture them laughing and sharing their days with each other.

I used to stare at the magazines or even harshly judge what other people were buying but this is much nicer.  It makes me feel connected to that person because we all have families, we all want to nourish our bodies and families bodies and what is happening on the cover of Vogue does not bring me joy."

In this workshop you will explore how to embody practices out in the "real world" that are an extension of your life "on the cushion."

These mini-workshops are designed to bring you meditation practices that are practiced OFF your cushion and IN the world! Expand your horizons to include the senses, youth, somatics, and lovingkindness practices you can do while at the grocery store or in a traffic jam!

You can register for just this one session or all of the reunion workshops by selecting the bundle option. By registering you'll get the recording in your Mind Oasis account to visit at a later date.
