iRest Yoga Nidra: Rest & Resilience in the Holiday Season

with Karen Soltes

Two-hour workshop

Sunday, December 20 at 12:00pm CT (2 hours)

(time zone converter)

The holiday season can be a time where we feel stretched to do more and more. Just as the days are getting shorter, the organic need to rest and renew may find itself at odds with the increased expectations. The company of friends and family can be a source of love and support, and in this unusual time, may be less available than in years past.

iRest Yoga Nidra® is a guided mindfulness meditation practice that can help to calm the nervous system, provide a deep sense of rest and relaxation, and can offer tools to increase our resilience in managing the challenges of life. This workshop will offer an overview of iRest Yoga Nidra, two iRest practices, and discuss some of the tools of iRest that can be utilized throughout the day to increase one’s sense of well-being.
