About this series

Four-week Series

8am CT, Thursdays, 5-26 March, 2020

A 4-Week Series with Karuna; the second in her Living Beautifully year-long exploration with Pema Chödrön.  No need to have attended the prior modules -- you're welcome to register for individual modules or the entire year-long series.

Each class will be an invitation to recharge your battery, recommit to living beautifully, and reset your intention for the week.

In this module, we will be leaning on Pema Chödrön’s book, “How to Meditate.”

There will be no less inspiration as we take four weeks to hone our meditation skills.  Appropriate for experienced and beginning meditators alike – we can all use refreshers to hone and level-up our practice!

“If we can train ourselves through meditation to be more open and more accepting toward the wild arc of our experience, if we can lean into the difficulties of life and the ride of our minds, we can become more settled and relaxed whatever life brings us.” – Pema Chodron

We will explore five remarkably helpful qualities that begin to emerge over our lifetime of practice:

  1. Nurturing steadfastness with ourselves
  2. Generating clear seeing
  3. Cultivating courage
  4. Developing attention and presence
  5. Embracing “No.Big.Deal.”

Perfect prep for anyone who has signed up for the “Living Beautifully” Mind Oasis Meditation Retreat happening Apr 2nd-5th 2020 in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

Remember if you miss a session - they're recorded

“My vision is that participants will leave each session feeling recharged and energized for whatever uncertainty and change they meet that week. To live beautifully requires us to spend time in quiet reflection, mindful action, and self-care/retreat. Finding a way to integrate spiritual practices into each breath we take and our actions while living and working out and about in the world is my greatest desire. Together we will explore the many ways we each are caring for and supporting others and ourselves.” -- Karuna Whether you sign up for the entire year or just one series at a time, the touchstone of one hour each devoted to living beautifully will have a profound effect on your spirit.
