Community, Connection, and Compassion: Equity in Wellness

with Sheena Brockington-Taylor

3-Part Workshop

Monday, 16 November, 6:30 - 8:30pm CT

Wednesday, 18 November 18, 6:30 - 8:00pm CT

Monday, 30 November 30, 6:30 - 8:30pm CT (time zone converter)

As a meditation teacher or any other teacher in the healing arts space, you have a unique opportunity to offer students practices to care for themselves, their families, and communities.

Each student comes to the cushion with their own stories, experiences and challenges. It’s our responsibility to meet each student with an open heart and mind.

We’ll discover how a compassionate teacher builds community and connection while creating a welcoming space for all students.

We’ll explore ways to make wellness practices accessible, equitable, and inclusive for all students regardless of their race, economic status, size, sexual identity, gender, or abilities.

You’ll leave the sessions with a personal action plan for championing and creating equity in the meditation space and beyond.
