Meditation brings wisdom, lack of meditation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back and choose the path that leads to wisdom.” – Buddha

The Three Principal Paths are the foundation of Buddhist philosophy. These teachings serve as a guide to help us practice mindfulness and compassion while opening the door to extraordinary wisdom. This ultimately leads us to a state of mind (and heart) that is more peaceful and at ease. It offers us greater ability to navigate a constantly changing world without anxiety and fear.

When we are anchored to an unshakeable Inner Wisdom we become better equipped to live a life of meaning, make positive contributions to the world, and fulfill a greater purpose within our short lifetime.

In this class we will use the Three Principal Paths as a way to:

  • Connect with deeper motivation to practice;

  • Explore heart-felt longing for freedom;

  • Incorporate tools for meditation practice, life, relationships, career;

  • Learn skills to navigate a constantly changing world

  • Align our practice and actions for a higher purpose and for good for all beings.

We will use the traditional Buddhist text Three Principal Paths by Je Tsongkapa (1357-1419).
