“Eating is not only nourishing for the body, but also for the mind.”

― Thich Nhat Hanh

Learn how to make homemade, gluten and grain free blueberry muffins and dinner rolls that are DELICIOUS and healthy too!

How can food help your meditation practice? Nutrition impacts the mind, body and emotions. In these cooking classes, we will explore food choices which enhance physical health, soothe emotions, and stabilize the mind. We will also discuss the various kinds of diets, take time for mindfulness, and practice meditation together.

We often tend to the breath during meditation. Nutrition can help us to tend to the body and mind so that we can go deeper in our practice. When the body is grounded, the mind is stable and calm.

What and how we eat matters greatly to our physical well-being and our mental state. In these cooking classes you will learn how nutrition impacts your mind and your meditation practice.
