What is it?
This 3-month Meditation Immersion was crafted in order to help you cultivate a practice that you love and look forward to every day.
With the expert guidance of qualified mentors and a community by your side, you’ll learn an ancient form of meditation called shamatha (calm-abiding), and additional complementary methods.
What will I learn?
This Immersion isn’t just about learning how to meditate effectively (you’ll learn that, too). At its core, it’s a deep dive into the lasting benefits of regular meditation practice. As you apply these methods throughout the offering, you’ll notice things in your life shifting from stress-inducing and frenetic to more fulfilling, joyful, and serene.

If you’ve ever joined a Community Meditation™ through Mind Oasis, then you know our sessions are for all levels. Whether you’ve spent 0 minutes or 1,000 + hours in meditation, you’ll get lifelong value from this Immersion.
Wherever you fall on the experience spectrum, you’ll come away with new strategies, deeper understanding, and enhanced wisdom.
Beginners: If you’re new to meditation and you just aren’t sure how to get started, you’ll learn the basic principles and how to incorporate meditation more fully into your life.
Intermediates: You do your best to practice daily, but haven’t quite figured out how to weave meditation into your life. This immersion will inspire you to find the space and benefit from the value of consistency.
Experienced: You’ve managed to practice regularly, and now it’s time to squeeze a lot more juice out of it. You’ll tap into a more profound meditative state that opens the door wider to self-compassion, deepening your practice whether its using mantras, visualizations, or other methods.
Aspiring Guides: You’ve gotten such profound personal and spiritual value from your meditation practice, and now you’re ready to become a beacon for the meditation curious. This is the path to becoming a certified Mind Oasis Meditation Guide.

Meet Karuna, your guide for the 5th annual Meditation Immersion.
Leaning on the stellar instruction she has received from her meditation and dharma teachers and Life Itself, Karuna designs her classes to create the type of reflection from which you can find a meaningful and enriching life.
This is her 5th Meditation Immersion cohort.
Sassy, fun, and knowledgeable, class with Karuna is sure to inspire. You can expect to learn exactly what you need to create a joyful and curious life. Expect your paradigm to shift in playful and potent ways.
Karuna has studied Tibetan Buddhism extensively. She has taught and guided hundreds of hours of meditation sessions. It is her greatest desire that all beings be happy and free.
When she isn't mountaineering, guiding meditation, writing a book, teaching a Dharma class, riding her motorcycle or trail running, you will find Karuna hiking with her husband Joseph and two dogs, Ruby Rose and Stella Bean in the mountains of ColoRocky.
Additionally, you will have access to 3-4 workshops dedicated to other types of meditation in order to:
